Evidence Based Practice
IP&MA recognizes that the success of any infection prevention program is dependent on its ability to remain aware of current updates in knowledge, technology and regulations impacting the field. To that end, IP&MA focuses considerable effort to stay informed of progress in the science of infection prevention. This is done to ensure that our clients are supported by solutions that are informed by the current evidence based standards and practices.
We also feel it is important to contribute to that foundation of infection knowledge, and support our IPs and teams in sharing with the healthcare community through publication, science communication and advocacy, and participation in professional organizations.
